The Title Guaranty Board comprises five members appointed by the Governor of Iowa and approved by the Senate, the director of Title Guaranty serving as an ex officio member, and secretary.  Membership includes an attorney, abstractor, real estate broker, mortgage lender and a representative of the housing development industry.  Each member is appointed for a term of six (6) years.
