Communities and housing organizations around Iowa can benefit from the Iowa Finance Authority’s diverse programs.

The State Housing Trust Fund makes valuable grants to increase and preserve the statewide stock of affordable single-family and multifamily programs.

The OurHome Rehabilitation Program provides low-interest loans to housing organizations that can use the funds to create or
supplement their own single-family rehabilitation program.

Similarly, the NewHome Construction Program makes loans available for various entities to construct new single-family homes in Iowa communities.

The state of Iowa, through the Iowa Council on Homelessness, is committed to ensuring that all Iowans have access to safe, decent and affordable housing. As part of the Iowa Finance Authority, the ICH and its 36 member work to identify issues, raise awareness and secure resources that will allow all homeless Iowans to become self-sufficient.
